Great performance and workshop from Steve Weston and Paul Garner on Wednesday (10th). Thanks guys for a brilliant evening and also to everyone who came and supported the event. Steve and Paul played two sets, with a Q&A session in between. Steve explained how he began playing harp purely by chance after asking his father to buy some records for him. Bristol based harp player Jon Vaughan made the trip up especially for the event and Lawrence Garman was in the house too so we had some jamming at the end including a group round robin.

Hi Everyone, our next meeting is tomorrow night at the Blues Posts where the stupendous Will Greener will be leading proceedings. Hope to see you there!
Will Greener led the session on Wednesday 29th Feb. Thanks to everyone who came along. Will took the group through ‘Chicken Shack’, culminating with an ensemble version at the end with different parts. This worked well as it suited the different abilities in the room so everyone could join in. Terrific.
